HOW TO PROCEED

Through submitting your CV and case study and by participating in online quiz and interview you provide your personal data to Penta Investments, s. r. o., BIN: 47 258 896, Einsteinova 25, 851 01 Bratislava, Slovak Republic, email: smartdeal@smartdeal.eu or gdpr_pi_sr@pentainvestments.com (“Penta Investments”, “we” or the “controller”) which administers Smartdeal contest. We fully respect your privacy and adhere to corresponding legislation. Therefore we have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal data, to secure data storages and to control the access thereto.

We process your personal data (“data”) involving mainly your name, surname, date of birth, address and other contact data, info on education, employment, hobbies and skills, and other data included in your CV and case study respectively. As mentioned before, we also process data on the results of online quiz, interview outcome and your overall Smartdeal results as well as the data on paid rewards, job offers and related arrangements with us. We do not process special categories of personal data (e.g. data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, health data) thus please do not provide us with such data.

Provision of your data is voluntary. However, it is the very precondition of your participation in Smartdeal contest. Processing of your data enables us to duly assess the participants, choose the most successful ones, arrange respective awards, provide the winner with the job offer and keep track of the most successful participants. If you are awarded, but not offered the job within the Smartdeal, with your consent we can archive your data so we may provide you with suitable job offer in the future. Therefore the lawfulness of your data processing is given by your consent below, by the necessity of compliance with the legal obligation to which we are subject (awards payments, job offers, employment documentation) and because such processing is also necessary for the protection of our reputation, our property interests and contest administration. Please note that no automated decision making upon your data takes place.

Following the previous provision, after individual contest is finished we delete all data except the general data of participants (name, surname, contact data), which we store until it is not necessary for purposes of our legitimate interests. If you were awarded, with your respective consent we archive all your data for 1 (one) year. Additionally, we archive the data on paid awards, job offers and employment data during the statutory periods.

In order to present you suitable job offer, your archived data may be accessed by our affiliated companies, especially by Penta Investments or Penta Real Estate companies in Slovak Republic, Czech Republic and in Poland (Penta Investments, s.r.o. and Penta Investments sp. z o.o. or Penta Real Estate s. r. o., Penta Real Estate s.r.o. and Penta Real Estate sp. z o.o.) and also Penta Hospitals International a. s or Dr. Max BDC, s.r.o. Your data will not be transferred to third countries.

In accordance with respective legislation, you have the right to access your data, to rectify your personal data or, where applicable, the right to restrict the processing; the right to delete your personal data; to object the processing; the right to data portability; to withdraw consent with the processing in writing or electronically to our address or email. Furthermore, you also have the right to file a complaint with the respective Personal Data Protection Office, if you believe that your right to privacy has been violated.
